Prudence is a Michigan native.  Presently living in Northwest Michigan, she captures the beauty of her surroundings with her sketches and watercolors.

Spending most of her professional career devoted to the communication arts in the areas of Speech and Language Pathology and Gifted students education, she now looks to the Visual Arts as a Communication Tool.

"Exciting and unpredictable" are terms Prudence uses to describe painting with watercolors.  She enjoys the "happy accidents" that occur while working with this medium.

For Prudence, watercolor painting is an opportunity to share her appreciation of God's many blessings.  From the soft moods of morning mist on the lake to the vivid, intense colors of the fall leaves, she captures the beauty and contrasts of nature.
